John Williams joined Lookout Ridge Consulting (formerly Salisbury Management Services) in September 2003, as a Business Consultant. John comes to Lookout Ridge Consulting with the experience gained from working at Country Fresh, a dairy processor in Grand Rapids, Michigan. John was with Country Fresh for 27 years, the last 15 years as VP Finance/Chief Financial Officer. While at Country Fresh, John was responsible for the finance and information resource functions, including all accounting, financial reporting and treasury activities. He also worked on mergers and acquisitions and negotiated financing packages to help finance the acquisitions. John was also responsible for implementing a computerized manufacturing resource planning system, and an order to cash sales system.

Prior to working at Country Fresh, John worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Chicago, and at Hungerford Aldren Nichols and Carter CPA’s in Grand Rapids.

John received a MBA and a BA in finance, both from Michigan State University. He also received his CPA certificate, and is a member of the Michigan Association of CPA’s and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. John is also a certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor through the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AMAA).
