Sara has been involved in agriculture all her life. She grew up on a family farm in Western Wisconsin with sheep and beef cattle.  Her passion for the dairy industry began at a young age when she got involved working on neighboring dairies.  Currently, Sara and her husband are the 4th generation on her husband’s family dairy.  She began her career with Lookout Ridge Consulting (formerly AgStar Family Business Consulting) in 2006 and is currently providing consulting services to family businesses in Rural America.  Sara specializes in human relations, people dynamics, dairy consulting, succession and transition planning and financial monitoring.  

Education and Training
Sara has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a Finance emphasis from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls.  Sara has received training from the Life Office Management Association and has received her LOMA1 Certification.  She has also received training through the Employers Association, ASFMRA and various consulting programs.
