 Mike Fassler has had a business consulting practice since 1984 through which he provides financial, business growth, and family business planning consulting services to clients throughout North America. Mike served as President of Salisbury Management Services through June, 2006 which was then acquired by AgStar Financial Services. Mike currently leads the consulting group as Vice President & Managing Director for Lookout Ridge Consulting.
Mike received the designation of Accredited Agricultural Consultant (AAC) from the American Society of Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA), and is a member and earned his Certificate in Family Business Advising from the Family Firm Institute (FFI). Mike is a past board member of the Michigan FFA Foundation, Farm Financial Standards Council, the Michigan Pork Producers Association, Past-President of the Michigan Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and Past-President of the Association of Agricultural Computing Companies.
Prior to beginning his consulting practice, Mike worked in the Farm Credit System as a credit officer for grain and farm supply corporations. In addition to his credit officer functions, Mike was responsible for implementing the bank's computerized data base/credit analysis system.
Mike has received a M.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University and a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
